TERMS & CONDITIONS
Woman Powerhouse
Last updated: 6 September 2026
1. ABOUT THESE TERMS
These Terms & Conditions apply to access to and use of the Woman Powerhouse website and to contracts for products, digital content and services purchased from Woman Powerhouse through our website or other online sales channels where these Terms & Conditions are made available.
By placing an order, you agree that these Terms & Conditions form part of the agreement between you and Woman Powerhouse. Mandatory rights granted to consumers by Dutch law, EU law, or other applicable consumer law always take precedence over any conflicting provision in these Terms & Conditions.
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version provided or made available before or at the time your contract is concluded applies to that contract. Later changes do not retroactively reduce statutory rights or alter an existing agreement unless permitted by law and, where required, agreed with you.
2. WHO WE ARE
The seller and contracting party is:
Trading name: Woman Powerhouse
Legal entity: Woman Powerhouse
Registered address: Gravestein 914, 1103BH, Amsterdam, The Netherlands
Chamber of Commerce (KvK): 65868838
Email: womanpowerhouse@outlook.com
In these Terms & Conditions, “Woman Powerhouse”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the business identified above. “Consumer” means a natural person acting for purposes outside their trade, business, craft or profession.
3. PRIVACY AND PERSONAL DATA
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Dutch implementing legislation. Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data we process, for which purposes, on which legal bases, how long we retain it, with whom we share it and what rights you have.
You are responsible for ensuring that information you provide to us is accurate and up to date, particularly where it is required to process payment, deliver an order or contact you about your purchase.
4. USE OF THE WEBSITE
Permitted use
You may use the website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of Woman Powerhouse or third parties, interfere with the operation of the website, or compromise its security.
Prohibited activities
You must not:
• commit, facilitate or encourage an unlawful or criminal act through the website;
• introduce viruses, malware, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other malicious or technologically harmful material;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, customer accounts, servers, databases or connected systems;
• interfere with the availability, security or performance of the website or another user’s use of it;
• use the website to distribute unsolicited advertising or spam;
• infringe intellectual property, privacy, confidentiality or other rights of Woman Powerhouse or a third party; or
• use automated tools, bots or scraping systems to extract website content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission, except where applicable law gives you a right to do so.
We may take reasonable and proportionate steps to protect our website, systems and users against misuse. Where required or permitted by law, unlawful conduct may be reported to competent authorities.
5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY, SOFTWARE AND CONTENT
Unless otherwise stated, the intellectual property rights in the website and its content, including text, photographs, graphics, logos, product designs, layouts, downloads, software and other materials, belong to Woman Powerhouse or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may view, store or print website content for your own lawful, personal and non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, publish, distribute, sell, commercially exploit, modify, AI modify, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or create derivative works from protected content or software except where this is expressly permitted by law or by our prior written permission.
No licence is granted to use the Woman Powerhouse name, logo, trade marks or other distinctive signs for commercial purposes without prior written permission.
6. CUSTOMER ACCOUNTS
Where our website allows account registration, you must provide accurate registration information and keep it reasonably up to date.
• Keep login credentials confidential and use reasonable measures to prevent unauthorised access.
• Notify us promptly if you believe your account or credentials have been compromised.
• Do not use an account to circumvent restrictions, commit fraud or otherwise misuse our services.
We may suspend or close an account where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance or serious breach of these Terms & Conditions. Where appropriate and legally required, we will provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to address the issue. Closing an account does not remove statutory rights relating to orders already placed.
7. PRODUCT INFORMATION AND AVAILABILITY
We aim to describe products and services accurately and to provide the main characteristics a consumer needs to make an informed purchasing decision. Product photographs are illustrative; minor differences in colour or appearance may occur because of screen settings, lighting, materials or manufacturing tolerances, provided the product still conforms to the agreement and applicable law.
Availability shown on the website may change. If a product becomes unavailable after an order is placed and we cannot fulfil the agreement, we will inform you without undue delay and refund any amount paid for the affected product where required.
For digital content, digital services or products with digital elements, we will provide legally required information about functionality, compatibility, interoperability, security and updates where applicable.
8. PRICES, DISCOUNTS AND ADDITIONAL CHARGES
Consumer prices are shown in the currency indicated on the website and include VAT where applicable. Before you place an order, we will clearly provide the total price and any delivery or other mandatory charges, or explain how charges that cannot reasonably be calculated in advance will be determined.
Price reductions
Where we announce a price reduction for a product, any “was” or reference price used to present that reduction will comply with applicable price-reduction rules. In general, the reference price for a discount is the lowest price applied by us during the 30 days before the reduction, subject to statutory exceptions.
9. PAYMENT
The payment methods available at checkout may include card payments, iDEAL or Wero, PayPal, Klarna or other methods offered by our payment providers. Available methods may vary by location, order value or other legitimate criteria.
By placing an order, you confirm that the payment information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to use the selected payment method. Payment may be processed by a third-party payment service provider under that provider’s applicable terms and privacy notice.
Any payment or transaction fee will be disclosed before you place the order and will not exceed what applicable law permits.
10. ORDER PROCESS AND FORMATION OF THE CONTRACT
The display of products or services on the website is an invitation to place an order. You submit an order by completing the checkout process and activating the final order button.
The final order step will make clear that placing the order creates a payment obligation where applicable. Before placing the order, you will have an opportunity to review key order information and correct input errors.
After receiving your order, we will send an electronic acknowledgement. Unless the acknowledgement expressly states that we accept the order, it is not by itself acceptance. The contract is concluded when we accept your order, for example by sending an order confirmation that clearly communicates acceptance or by dispatching the goods, depending on the checkout process used.
If we cannot accept your order, we will inform you and refund any payment received for that order without undue delay. Contract information that must be provided on a durable medium will be sent or otherwise made available to you in a form you can store, such as email.
11. DELIVERY
We deliver to the destinations offered at checkout. Available delivery methods, delivery costs and estimated delivery times will be shown before you place your order.
For pre-orders, a longer delivery period may apply. The expected delivery period for a pre-order will be communicated before you place your order.
If we fail to deliver within an agreed or legally applicable period, you may have the right to require delivery within an additional appropriate period and, if delivery still does not take place, to terminate the contract and receive a refund.
For consumer sales, the risk of loss or damage generally passes to you when you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, physically receives the goods. If you independently appoint a carrier not offered by us, different statutory rules may apply.
12. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING, CUSTOMS AND IMPORT CHARGES
Orders delivered outside the Netherlands may be subject to customs formalities, import duties, taxes, clearance costs or other charges imposed by the destination country. Whether such charges are included in the checkout total depends on the shipping method, destination and applicable law.
Where import charges are not collected by us and applicable law makes the recipient responsible for them, you are responsible for paying those charges and for providing information reasonably required by customs authorities. We recommend checking local import rules before ordering where restrictions may apply.
Customs processing may delay delivery for reasons outside our reasonable control.
13. STATUTORY RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
If you are a consumer who purchases at a distance, you generally have a statutory right to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason. For goods, the withdrawal period is normally 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, receives the goods. Special rules apply to orders delivered in multiple parts or at different times.
You may exercise the right of withdrawal by sending us a clear statement that you wish to withdraw, using the model withdrawal form in Annex 1, or follow the instructions in our refund policy.
Exceptions
The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply in certain situations specified by law. Depending on the product or service, exceptions include:
• goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised;
• goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
• sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons where the seal has been broken after delivery;
• sealed audio or video recordings or sealed computer software where the seal has been broken after delivery;
• services that have been fully performed during the withdrawal period where performance began with the legally required prior consent and acknowledgement; or
• digital content not supplied on a tangible medium where supply began during the withdrawal period with your express prior consent and acknowledgement that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal.
14. RETURNS AND REFUNDS AFTER WITHDRAWAL
If you validly withdraw from a contract for goods, you must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us of your withdrawal. You meet the deadline if you send the goods before the 14-day period expires.
Unless we have agreed otherwise, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning goods when exercising the statutory right of withdrawal.
You may inspect and handle a product only to the extent necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, in the same way you would reasonably be permitted to do in a physical shop. You may be responsible for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary for that assessment.
Following a valid withdrawal, we will refund the payments received from you for the withdrawn contract, including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method we offered for the original delivery. Any additional cost resulting from your choice of a more expensive delivery method does not have to be refunded.
We will make the refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the day on which you notify us of the withdrawal. For a sale of goods, we withhold the refund until we have received the goods or you have supplied evidence of having sent them back, whichever occurs first. Unless otherwise agreed, the refund will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction and without a refund fee.
Additional practical return instructions may be set out in our Return Policy. A voluntary return policy never reduces the statutory right of withdrawal or rights relating to defective or non-conforming goods.
15. DEFECTIVE, DAMAGED, INCORRECT OR NON-CONFORMING PRODUCTS
Products supplied by Woman Powerhouse must conform to the contract and applicable legal requirements. This includes the characteristics, quantity, quality, durability, functionality, compatibility and other qualities that you may reasonably expect under the contract and applicable law.
If a product is defective, damaged, incomplete, incorrect or otherwise does not conform to the contract, please contact us at womanpowerhouse@outlook.com. Include your order number and a description of the issue. Photographs can help us assess visible damage or defects, but failure to provide photographs does not remove a statutory right.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may be entitled to repair or replacement and, where the legal conditions are met, a price reduction or termination of the contract and a refund. Remedies will be provided without charge where the law requires this, including applicable shipping or return costs.
Any commercial warranty offered by Woman Powerhouse or a manufacturer is additional to, and does not replace or reduce, statutory conformity rights. Statutory rights are not limited to a fixed 14-day, 30-day or other short return period.
16. DIGITAL CONTENT AND DIGITAL SERVICES
If Woman Powerhouse supplies digital content or digital services, we will provide the information and contractual performance required by applicable law.
Digital content and digital services must conform to the contract. Where applicable, you may have statutory rights to have a lack of conformity remedied, to receive a proportionate price reduction or to terminate the contract. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits those rights.
For digital content supplied immediately during the withdrawal period, the right of withdrawal is lost only where all statutory requirements for express prior consent and confirmation have been met.
17. PROMOTIONS, REVIEWS AND ONLINE COMMERCIAL PRACTICES
Sale, discounted or promotional products remain subject to statutory consumer rights, including the right of withdrawal where applicable and conformity rights.
Where we publish consumer reviews and make claims about how reviews are collected or verified, those claims will accurately reflect the process used.
18. ACCESSIBILITY OF E-COMMERCE SERVICES
Where the statutory accessibility requirements for e-commerce services apply to Woman Powerhouse, we will take the measures required by applicable accessibility legislation for the parts of our website, app, checkout, identification and payment processes that fall within scope.
19. INFORMATIONAL AND JOURNAL CONTENT DISCLAIMER
Planners, journals, educational materials, motivational content and other Woman Powerhouse content are intended for general informational, organisational or inspirational purposes. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, they are not professional legal, financial, medical, psychological or other regulated professional advice.
You are responsible for deciding whether general suggestions or strategies are appropriate for your circumstances and should consult a qualified professional where appropriate. This disclaimer does not apply in a way that excludes or limits statutory rights concerning the quality, conformity or safety of products or services purchased from us.
20. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND SERVICES
Our website may contain links to third-party websites, applications or services. Links are provided for convenience and do not necessarily imply endorsement. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, security or privacy practices to the extent permitted by law.
Payment, delivery, fulfilment and other external providers may apply their own terms and privacy notices to their services.
21. LIABILITY
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability, rights, guarantees or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. In particular, mandatory consumer protection rights remain fully applicable.
To the extent permitted by law, Woman Powerhouse is not liable for losses that are indirect, unforeseeable at the time the contract was concluded, or not caused by a breach by Woman Powerhouse. For consumers, we do not exclude liability where doing so would be contrary to mandatory law.
We are not responsible for website interruptions or delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, provided we have taken the steps reasonably required by law. This does not affect rights you may have in relation to an order, refund, delivery or non-conforming product.
22. COMPLAINTS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE
If you have a complaint about Woman Powerhouse, a product, an order, delivery, a refund or our service, please contact us at womanpowerhouse@outlook.com. Providing your order number and a clear description of the issue will help us investigate. We will handle complaints within a reasonable period and in accordance with applicable law.
23. SUSPENSION, FORCE MAJEURE AND WEBSITE AVAILABILITY
We may temporarily suspend or restrict parts of the website where reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, legal compliance or circumstances outside our reasonable control. We will seek to minimise disruption where reasonably possible.
A circumstance outside our reasonable control does not automatically remove your statutory rights. If such a circumstance materially affects performance of a consumer contract, the consequences will be determined in accordance with applicable law.
24. SEVERABILITY AND NO WAIVER
Severability
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or limited to the minimum extent necessary where legally possible. The remaining provisions will continue to apply. Mandatory consumer law remains unaffected.
No waiver
If we do not immediately exercise a right or remedy following a breach, this does not mean that we waive that right or remedy. A waiver is effective only to the extent permitted by law.
25. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms & Conditions and contracts with Woman Powerhouse are governed by Dutch law. If you are a consumer habitually resident in another country, this choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protections that apply to you under rules that cannot be contractually excluded.
Disputes may be submitted to the competent Dutch courts, without prejudice to any mandatory jurisdiction rules that allow a consumer to bring proceedings before another competent court, including a court in the consumer’s country of residence where applicable.
26. CHANGES TO THE WEBSITE, PRODUCTS AND THESE TERMS
We may change the website, product range, services or these Terms & Conditions for future use or future contracts. Any material information relevant to a purchase will be provided before the contract is concluded. Changes will not retroactively remove or restrict rights attached to an existing consumer contract.
